Just a "me too". Came in to see this annoying error after it autoupdated.
Hello, Hans & Darren.
This issue is caused by the design of our Webshield where all communication goes through it. If you want to use Little Snitch to have full control over your internet activity, we recommend you to disable WebShield.
Hi Avinash, I disabled WebShield right after the last software update changed the UI and obviously some other things. Although WebShield is off "com.avg.proxy" ist still active, especially on my email connections (imap etc.) Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
Hello Hans,
I understand the inconvenience. It would be helpful if you could provide the screenshot [http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot] of the message to check and assist further.
I use Little Snitch to control outgoing connections.
If I grant "any outgoing connection" to COM.AVG.PROXY, then Little Snitch looses control and ANYBODY may sneak in.
If not granted, then hundreds of requests a day (via COM.AVG.PROXY) I have to handle, which is awful.
Has anyone the same experience and, perhaps, a solution.

We appreciate your efforts, Neo.
Let me check it internally and get back to you soon. Your patience is much appreciated. Thank you!
