I apologize for the delayed response. Please follow below steps and check if it works:
- Open terminal and run “kextstat | grep com.kaspersky”. List of records will be displayed.
- For every record from previous step us the "sudo kextunload -b [RECORD NAME]" command.
- Once all records from 1st step are removed, update should be successful.

I cannot update AVG AntiVirus because of an error message from AVG saying basically that AVG can't update because 'incompatible software detected'. I followed KASPERSKY'S instructions to remove their software. Uninstalled, restarted, tried to update AVG and get same error message. Any suggestions? Thanks!
