Hi David,
We regret the inconvenience caused.
Upon checking your account, we can see that you have an active subscription of AVG Secure VPN.
This is the expected behavior as most of the banking websites will have their own restriction policy which will not allow access to their users when a VPN application is being used.
However, you can try selecting the following locations 'Gotham, Miami, New York, Seattle, Wonderland' available in the AVG Secure VPN and check whether you are able to access the banking sites.
Thank you for understanding in advance!
When completing transactions online I often have to turn off AVG so the payment details will go though.
I usually use Chrome as my browser and sit wailing for final transactions to go through until I disconnect AVG Internet Security. Any ideas?
Hi Sreenu
Under settings in General I have a "Block and Allow apps" but no "Add allowed or blocked websites" .
I haven't tried the server locations as the first thing I do is turn off the VPN when I have problems, In fact I hardly use it as it slows the system down to much.
Hi David,
You can verify the issue by changing the AVG Secure VPN server locations.
If not, you can try to add the website to this option "Block and Allow apps" and check if it helps.
You may experience a slower internet connection when using AVG Secure VPN. This is because a VPN encrypts traffic and data before sending it to a server. Depending on the distance and capacity of the server, this process may cause a slightly slower, but safer, internet connection.
Thank you.
