Compusec and false Positives

Same…tags the *.bin files in the root of C:.

I have a ticket submitted.

19 files to be exact. We have same log files on 9 systems that are encrypted.

Hello Barry, I certainly understand your concern. Are you 100% sure that AVG detecting this hidden files post installing Compusec dick encryption suite? You can submit the samples here http://samplesubmit.avg.com . Thank you.

Has anyone installed Compusec dick encryption suite?  After installation when AVG ran a full system scan, the anti-rootkit feature detected several hidden files.  Compusec does modify to boot to require a username and password.

I suspect that these hidden files are part of the changes made to the system and are false positives.  However, I do not what to have AVG adress the problems until I know for sure.  If these files are needed by Compusec, removing them would likely make my system unbootable.

Anyone else have this issue after installing Compusec?
