Hello Charles,

This shouldn't happen due to AVG.
However, let us perform a complete re-installation using remover tools and check the status.
Run AVG remover followed by Clear tool as mentioned (here).
NOTE: If there are no AVG program found click on "Run Anyway" to proceed with the removal.
Install AVG Internet Security as mentioned (here).
Keep us informed about the status.

Hi! Can anyone please help? My computer has been reaaaly slow, crashing, softwares not working and with freezing internet. 
I found out it was because of AVG. I disabled the Internet Security and my laptop came alive. 
Is there anything I can do?

Thanks for your support. It didn´t work at all. I uninstalled AVG and purchased another antivirus. Computer is good now.
