I recently updated to AVG Protection on my desktop PC (Windows 7 64-bit). Since updating, my computer crashes when trying to go to sleep and I have to physically restart the computer. Uninstalling AVG Protection fixes the problem and sleep works properly again. I have tried uninstalling, using the AVG removal tool to clean out remaining traces, and reinstalled - but the problem persists. Has anyone else had sleep issues with AVG protection? The Windows event viewer does not give any useful information as to what caused the error, so I'm not sure how to go about trouble-shooting other than uninstalling the software I just purchased.
