Hi Komal, I have AVG internet security plus AVG tune up. The freeze occurs when I run an update or scan that requires a system restart . When I click on restart now the computer closes down but will not resart. This is not exclusive to AVG, it can occur at any time a system restart is required. I am also experiencing frequent freezes during normal use but I can fix this with a manual shut down and restart without the need to run down the battery.
When I run a program that requires a computer restart my computer can freeze. The computer becomes completely unresponsive and the only remedy is to disconect the power and let the battery run down. I can then plug in power and restart the computer.
