Try changing the schedule timing and if you feel that your PC slows down while scanning swtich to basicscanning speed. It will not drain your PC speed and it should run smoothly.
My computer freezes up while AVG is scanning. I have the scan time set for 2 a.m. but it usually starts (and therefore freezes up everything) shortly after I turn on my computer. Why is this happening?
