Computer freezing up after installing avg ultimate

Installed avg ultimate a couple of hours ago.
Now my computer keeps freezing up and is very, very slow.
Just what AVG should prevent !!!

We are sorry to know that, in this case, I suggest you to check if you have optimized your computer using the AVG PC TuneUp installed in your computer. If not, please optimize the computer using the AVG PC TuneUp and see if that improves the computer speed.
