Please let us know what happens when you run AVG virus scan, also let us know which AVG program you have installed on your computer (AVG Free Antivirus/AVG Internet Security). my computer still opens up new tabs after I ran the virus scan.
Ryan, Also, for your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
