Hello Cyber,
We will help you sort it out. Could you let me know the version of AVG Protection installed on your computer, to check this open AVG Protection > Menu/option > about.
I also request you to share a screenshot of the AVG Protection user interface to proceed further.
You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Regards,
Alok.
Thank you for providing the screenshot.
It is an older version of AVG that you are using for which virus definition updates have been stopped. We'd request to uninstall the older version and install latest version of AVG to resolve the issue and stay protected against virus and hacker attacks.
Follow the steps in this link to uninstall, and refer to instructions in this article to download and install newer version of AVG Internet Security.
NOTE: You can use the same license number to activate the newer version.
When I click 'Fix Now' the message 'Update completed successfully' pops up, but the problem is not fixed. I checked the AntiVirus configuration and cannot find the problem source. How should I proceed?
Thank you for providing the screenshot.

This is the same bit that they use on cellphone apps to trick you into paying to "fix" the problem. There is none. Ignore it. Go into settings and tell the pop-up to stay up for 0 seconds.
