Computer recognizing my printer

Since upgrading my AVG protection my computer will not recognize my printer.I have done everything I was instructed to do from AVG and would love to talk to a person about this.  Canon told me that since the upgrade on the AVG system, I need to talk to AVG but am finding it impossible to get any useful assistance from AVG. How can they be contacted by phone?
