I am having the same issues with my computer. Help please. I am using AVG Anti Virus 2015. Thank you

While scanning, after a minute and finding 5 threats, my computer shuts down and restarts. I've re-scanning several times, tried the control panel to fix AVG, ran a malware program (that didn't find anything), ran check disc on windows.  I'm out of ideas…help me!!!
