I have been using AVG on my laptop for two years, and I am thinking of buying another anti virus, as AVG seems to be making my laptop run slower. As soon as I bought my new laptop, I have been bombarded by AVG to buy tuneup, having paid for a two year subscription on a new Lenovo ideapad 530S laptop, I didn’t want to have to pay another big sum. So I think AVG is making my computer run slower so as to make me buy their other product. I had to change my last laptop, because the same thing happened with that one, also through AVG.
I have been trying to contact someone at AVG, and there is no number for people in the UK, although I notice that people in other countries can call their helplines. My subscription is due to run out in December, and I think I will use another AV provider.
