Computer slower since upgrading avg

This isn't the experience we want you to have. We'd like to look into this & help you. 
Initially, please clarify when does the performance goes down. Is it while browsing or startup?

I have used the free Avg version for forever and it has worked great! I had to upgrade to the paid version when that ran out and now my computer is super slow and timing out. What’s the problem?
