Hello Gm,
Thank you for contacting us. We would request you to try repair installation ( avgclick.me/RepairAVG ) of your AVG. Please, feel free to let us know if you require any further assistance. Thank you.
GM,
We like to inform you that AVG will not block the updates for Windows 10. Its recommended to disable your Antivirus before upgrading Windows. To know more about the Windows upgrade we kindly request you to please contact Microsoft Support.
Thank you for your understanding.
Please feel free to get back to us for any issues with AVG.
It diplays too "the protection is updated", but clicking on it "... error during the configuration save: connection not active".
What have I to do?
Thanks, regards.
Thanks.
We always recommend not to have two antivirus program on the same PC.
It will conflict each other.
Gm, With both Win 8.1 & 10 Windows Defender is classified as an AV prog… so it could conflict with AVG.

Abusing of your kindness, may you confirm that the update to win10 was failed because I had not previously uninstalled AVG (and ZoneAlarm too)?
If confirmed, wishing to retry that, what have I to do?:
- uninstall again AVG and ZoneAlarm
- update to win10
- re-install AVG and ZoneAlarm
Is all this OK?
Thanks again, regards.

Thank you for trying out the suggestions and we appreciate your efforts and patience so far. As already suggested by Gulam, please disable the real time protection of AVG and Zone alarm firewall to upgrade windows. Or else, you can also consider uninstalling both software and re installing them after you successfully upgrade to Windows 10. Thank you.
We are sorry to know that the issue persists. We appreciate your efforts. I suggest you to remove AVG traces using remover tool( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ). Please restart to complete the uninstalling process. After running AVG Remover, you may need to manually uninstall any remaining AVG applications and also 'search' for a folder "AVG Remover"(usually in 'C' drive) and please delete it manually. And then I request you to install AVG Antivirus Free based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) .To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218
