Computer will not accept wireless scan from printer

Hello David,

I understand that you are unable to scan documents via wifi. Please check the below firewall settings from AVG and check if that fix the issue.

Please open the AVG Internet Security installed in your computer and click on Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Once this is done, click on "Network Profile(Left side of the interface) and change the profile to "Private" if selected in "Public".
Once this is done, click on "Policies->System Rules->Enable all the "Not Configured" settings and check if that fix the issue.

If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

Canon Pixma Printer will print using WiFi from computer (W10) but will not receive scanned document by WiFi.  It clear computer receives a transmittal from printer as the following message appears on computer: "MP Navigator corresponding to the printer you use may not be installed correctly.
I believe it is installed correctly but some setting within AVG is preventing the scan being sent through.
Can anyone help please?
David

Hello David,
It seems that you're using older version of AVG Internet Security on your computer. We recommend you to install AVG Internet Security 2017 version. I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG Internet Security. Please follow the instruction ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product ) to run AVG Remover tool and AVG Clear tool. After the computer reboots, you can follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security) to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security.
Best regards,
Alok.

Thank you but my AVG does not contain a heading Menu.  I clicked on Options but it only listed Advanced Settings.  Clicking on Firewall also does not give me Customize.
