the rescue cd will not copy onto my usb drive. it's a 2gb drive so i don't think that should be the problem, it's stopping at about 50mb each time. it keeps giving me 'Win32 error 82'.
2 days ago my computer told me avg needed to restart to finish an uograde. it hasn't worked since.
i have been looking at a black screen with date, time and then phase 0 six times running from 'starting watch dog initialization' thru 'finished'. then phase 1 eight times from 'initialize components thru finished'. and it stops.
why has nothing worked since thursday?

We are sorry to know that the AVG Rescue CD didn't copy to the USB drive.
We request you to unplug all the external devices connected to your PC via USB Ports and this should get your PC booted into Windows successfully.
