Conflict with Internet Provider firewall giving me blue screen

Meanwhile, please follow the steps in this article to check if there are any conflicting apps installed on your computer, which might cause blue screen.

I need a resolution please. My computer gives me the blue screen and crashes often. THe codes on the blue screens indicate it is a firewall conflict competing programs. I have contacted my internet provider who has offer to turn off their firewall however has suggested that I contact AVG first for suggestions. 
When I turn off AVG. I can work uninterrupted with no Blue Screen shut downs. 
Please advise how I should Proceed.
