Conflict with Norton 360

Hello Bob,
We understand your concern about using both AVG and Norton together. However, having more than one security software will conflict with each other and with each update, they will start to detect each other files as threat. Even though we add Norton to AVG exception list, it will still be detected as threat when Norton receive a new update. For now, you can add the Norton folder completely to AVG exception list http://avgclick.me/AddException and select the option to keep in exception even when the file is being modified or changed. This should stop AVG from detecting Norton as threat.
Thank you

Both AVG and Norton 360 have worked well on my computer until this last AVG update. I'm now getting constant AVG popups that reference a block to a "Threat" of a tmp file in N360. I've tried listing "exceptions" to the Norton file path to no avail.
The folks at AVG curtly suggested that I choose one or the other and didn't offer anything beyond that. I have to believe that there's a way around this. I really like a specific feature in N360 that AVG doesn't have and I'm reluctant to give it up.
Thanks in advance.
Bob
