Connecting updates

I saw that PC TuneUp was expired, I went ahead and purchased from the AVG screen (rather than coming directly to the website?)

Now my email says that I should be able to "connect", but that's not an option I can find....

And there are constant pop-ups telling me I need to restart, but nothing changes when I do restart......
