Thank you for your reply. Im based in Wales, UK, so no territory restrictions. Besides, I have been using NORD VPN with no issues for over two years.
Progress though. I uninstalled and re-installed AVG VPN and it now seems to work in that it says connected with no problems on several locations.
However, Chrome, Firefox and Edge Browsers fail to connect returning a message server not found.
Windows Net Diagnostic returns message "Security or Firewall might be blocking connection".
I checked MS Defender settings "it is off as AVG is on".
Any idea what to do next? Please bear in mind that as retired electronics engineer, I am more familiar with Vacuum Tubes, FET
s, TAC and PDP11 computers than modern PC`s
I have just installed AVG Ultimate on my ACER Aspire Z24-880 running Windows 10 Version 21H1.
Internet Security, AntiTrack and TuneUp all seem to work fine.
I have a problem with AVG VPN Ver 1.15.5913.
NORD VPN has been running up to now with no problems. NORD has been shut down and the PC restarted.
AVG VPN appears to connect, shows Original IP, Virtual IP and time connected.
After 45 to 60 seconds, the internet connection is disconnected. I have tried 5 different server locations with the same result.
During the short period the VPN appears to be connected, Browsers fail to connect to sites showing “no server found”.
Can anyone help.
