I get window coming up with  "E-mail is unable to scan messages because the connection is encrypted"

I have followed the instructions in "See Online FAQ" but it obvious I'm doing something wrong because this window keeps coming up. My server is Tiscali/Talktalk.

Perhaps you can email me a simple aid memoire that I can follow please?

What is the popup that you get? Is it the same, "E-mail is unable to scan messages because the connection is encrypted"  ?

Could you please confirm us that you have followed the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1IQNTtU and setup the AVG Email scanner to scan encrypted emails?
David, glad to know that your issue got resolved.
You can send a test email to your email address and check whether AVG is scanning it.
