No need to worry, we are here to help you. We would request you to follow the below steps to reinstall your AVG network filter to get issue fixed.
-Disable AVG Self Protection.
- Go to Control Panel -> Network Connections -> right click on the network area which is active -> "Properties"
- If there is "AVG Network filter driver" uninstall it and restart the computer twice
- AVG Firewall initializes auto-repair function so "AVG Network filter driver" should be automatically installed (therefore two restarts are needed).

Hi, thanks for your suggestion.
After re-installing AVG and it stopping my access to the internet again the following day I tried this however, after uninstalling the "AVG Network filter driver" it didn't re-install after several re-boots. Even trying to install manually didn't work so I had to uninstall the software again, which I had to cancel after half an hour as the green bar was 'stuck' at around 70% and it seemed to be doing nothing.
Is there anything else I can try?

I have a new laptop running Windows 10 and installed AVG internet security which worked fine. The next time I turned my computer on and went on the internet, after a couple of minutes I was unable to browse, with constant spinning balls in the tabs for both IE and Firefox. Rebooting would produce the same results. Eventually I realised both Windows Defender and AVG were running so I stopped Windows defender, this solved the problem for a short time but then the connection was 'blocked' again. I ended up uninstalling AVG, this solved the problem and browsing the internet was fine. I re-installed AVG which resulted in me being unable to browse the internet again. I have done this half a dozen times so am sure it must be AVG causing the issue.
Can anyone offer any advice please?
