I get that message any time I try to download email from my mail server. Turn AVG Email Shield OFF and I can access my email. Is this the extent of the protection of the Email Shield–block my access to email entirely.  Yes, I can turn off the Shield for the short time to download.  But then is the Shield doing anything for me?
