It is the usual behavior of our program and it is not possible to stop this particular notification.
However, you can refer this article and enable the silent mode in order to turn off all popups, alerts and messages from AVG Internet Security program.
We do not recommend to enable this setting as it would show threat notification too.

I have an automatic renewal set up for payment for a subscription. Can you please give us an option to turn off the pop-ups for these. I get one every 3-4 hours and it's annoying as hell. I don't need a reminder that my subscription is about to expire because it automatically renews.

It wouldn't be so bad if it hadn't changed from the way it used to be. When the subscription notice would pop up, I could dismiss it and not see it again until the next month. Now, it pops up, I dismiss it, and it pops up again in 2-3 hours. It's unnecessary and intrusive. Something clearly got changed in an update to cause this and needs to be reverted back to the way it was.
