Content File Locked

Hello Lowell,

I understand this must be upsetting and I apologize for the inconvenience. I would request you to uninstall AVG from the control panel- program list and also the game file from your PC. Then restart your computer, install the game file and try to play it. Then install AVG and scan your computer to check the issue. If the issue persists, please let me know the AVG program installed on your computer and the screenshot [http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot] of the error message [when trying to play the game] to assist further.

Yesterday AVG recognized an update to a game I had played for a few hours previously as a virus and put it into quarantine. I went to the quarantine and tried to restore the file but nothing happened. I then deleted the file  from quarantine thinking it would remove it from the quarantine but i guess it has just deleted the file entirely. I then reinstalled the game but the file that is content locked is not there but also not in quarantine either but each time I try to play it (to update it) it says the content file is locked. I've read a couple of articles online and I've already added the folder where the file should be to the exceptions list, in addition to my entire C and D drives… I've also tried verifying the game files on steam but nothing seems to make a difference. The game is newly released (Divinity Original Sin 2) I dont know if this information helps but I would really appreciate your help
