We would like to understand more about the situation.
Could you share the (screenshot) of popup that says "VPN is reconnecting"?

Are you able to choose "optimal location" on AVG Secure VPN window?

I am continually seeing a pop up window telling me that AVG VPN is reconnecting.  The country I am trying to view is telling me that I am not "in the country". Can anyone help?
