Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Even after disabling AVG, if the program doesn't work then it is not an issue with AVG.
However we request you to uninstall AVG program and check for the issue once.

since installing AVG, Crashplan cannot connect to the backup engine service

i have added exceptions to the whole folder and added exceptions to the firewall and still no luck

even with AVG disabled it still wont connect.  it was working fine till i installed AVG

im know im going on, but this is rediculous - can anyone remote to my PC?  i have never had problems like this till i installed AVG stuff.

Also, please try allowing the application through AVG Firewall by following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1G3omO8 then go for the uninstallation if this allow application doesn't help.

I cant reinstall any AVG product and AVG remover is trying to remove my uninstalled Tuneup.  I have lost all faith in this, but i want my PC to how it was before AVG was installed?

Can someone contact me please.
