Critical Program can't connect to SQL on same machine after last AVG update,

I run a program for programming a laser that requires access to SQL on the same machine. After the last AVG update, this program will not start because it can't access the SQL. Is there a fix for this other than deleting AVG?

You are most welcome. I am glad to know that the issue has been resolved now.
By default the network profile will set to "Public" and some of the customers will face issues with the program connecting via server.
The network profile should be chosen as Private, if we are using the network for home purpose.

This was set as "Public". I changed it to "Private" as instructed. The software in question started up just fine. To be absolutely positive, I rebooted. After the computer came back up, the program started just fine.

Looks like you found the issue.
