Haven't found much on AVG sites regarding commonly used crypto-mining software such as minergate and nicehash which a user will intentionally download. These two programs have a long history with users. Yes there wer situations where people got minergate uninetiomnally. But for those of us who do use these programs intentionally to do cryptocurrency mining, what is the real risk? Are Minergate(downloaded from their site) and Nicehash(downloaded from their site) REALLY a security y threat?
These always trigger malware threat detections and said software is moved to quarantine.
What is AVG's position regarding these widely used programs?
