After updating my AVG, my data safe (which was really important) disappeared. Is there no way to recover it? It's really, really important

We're glad to help you with this.
Data Safe has been replaced by Sensitive Data Shield, a new Privacy component. You can try to access your vault by : Opening AVG - Privacy - Click on 'Please review your files' below Sensitive Data Shield.
If that option isn't visible, we may need to proceed with a different troubleshooting. In that case, you may need to write back to us in your own/individual post to receive the email for the appropriate support.
