I have been using AVG Antivirus Free for years and regularly ask for a deep scan and always ask for a report file to be generated. Normally the report file is very short with a run time of about 4 hours for my hard disk. I ran a deep scan which generated numerous error lines, a couple of which are below:-

Information{b9b91a18-a197-11ef-8b3b-40b0765b471a}{3808876b-c176-4e48-b7ae-04046e6cc752} [E] This function is not supported on this system (120)
This did not seem right so I asked for a repair and ran another deep scan which resulted, again, in numerous error lines.
I then uninstalled AVG Antivirus Free followed by fresh installation of AVG Antivirus Free from a brand new download. Running deep scan again the error lines had disappeared but a run time of 41 seconds just does not seem right.
Have I selected something in settings that is causing this or is this a known problem with a fix that I can apply? Smart scan seems to be working. I am beginning to lose faith in this antivirus.
