Deep scan never finishes

Have you tried to reinstall AVG Internet Security on Mac? If not, please try to reinstall and check it. 
Do you get any error message when deep scan stuck? If yes, please take screenshot and share it with us (http://https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Create-screenshot).

I am running avg on a mac Big sure ver 11.2.3 .  I can launch a deep scan, but it never finishes, and i do not know where to see a log of why it is failing… any help would be appreciated.
