Deep Scan sticking at 27%

We're here to help. Please note that deep scan includes scanning every partition of your hard drive and it may take some time to finish. Unless you notice that the scan is stuck on particular file, the scan is just running slow.

Please close other running applications and wait for some more time.

Hi,

I have fully paid AVG internet security and when I use the deep scan function it gets stuck at 27%. I'd take a screen shot but it doesn't show that it's stuck on a particular file or anything it just says "Scanning for viruses and other malware…" Any help?
