I am in the process of running my first ever deep scan. It has already run for 6 hours and I am only at 47%. What could possibly be the problem? Nothing seems wrong with the function of my computer.

Please let us know the operating system of your computer, for how long the scan was at 47% & clarify whether there is a progress in scan currently.
We'd like to clarify that the 1st deep scan will usually take some time depending upon the file size on your computer.
