Awaiting your response.

Hi!
I've been having issues with a malware and I'm trying to protect my computer from further threats.
I noticed that by running deep scans AVG is unable to scan some file but I don't know how to solve this problem.
can anyone help?

Hi, I repaired AVG and ran another deep scan but the same problem still persists

Appreciate your efforts in working towards fixing the issue, Elena.
Upon checking this with the available resources, it seems that the scan with ghost icon indicates that few files are unavailable to scan. It could be a zip file, temporary file or file on cloud (which is not available on your local machine). It isn't necessarily a threat. You can be rest assured that your computer is protected against emerging threats & hackers.
If you're still concerned, you can run a boot time scan using AVG to ensure that your computer is protected.

Hi, thank you so much for getting back to me!
I know about the malware because AVG detected them through a deep scan ( and resolved them as well ) just a few days ago.
If I look through scan history avg is alerting me that even though no threats have been found, it was unable to scan some files. No names specified. Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you for writing back to us, Elena.

Please repair your AVG Internet Security as mentioned in this article, restart your computer once, initiate a new deep scan & check if the issue persists.
Keep us updated.
