Deep Virus Scan stuck at 0% initializing

So when I start a Deep Virus Scan, it remains stuck at 0%, "initializing",

This also affects my Whole Computer Scan, but that sometimes actually scans the whole computer, although I feel like only scanning my whole computer in 15 minutes seems a bit suspicious...

Is there any fix to it?
