A few weeks ago I explored options in AVG to speed up my computer. I have since replaced my hard drive with good speed increase results. I do have a few minor problems that I believe may be related to my alterations to AVG settings. I do not recall exacty what changes I made or to which product. I simply want to restore default settings.
How can I return any of my AVG products to the AVG default settings?

Before proceeding, please let us know the reason to revert the settings to default in AVG program & the exact AVG program.

I would suggest you to follow the steps below to undo the changes using rescue center.
Click the undo icon on the right side of the AVG TuneUp interface. You can view a list of actions and click Undo next to any action you want to reverse.

The changes made by AVG TuneUp can be reverted using rescue center.
I would suggest you try system restore and check if you're able to retrieve the old changes.
i do not know which action I want to reverse. Why is it so hard to simply revert to default settings?
We're glad to help you with this, Donald. As informed by our colleague, you can try to revert the changes made by TuneUp, as you've optimized the computer earlier using TuneUp.
Once you reach the Rescue center as instructed by our colleague, you'll be able to find the list of changes made. You can click on 'Undo' beside the actions that are performed a few weeks ago.
