Bob,
Sorry for the delay, please check if there is any external storage devices connected with your system. I suggest you to cancel the process and skip it from running. You can run it manually.
To skip it, open AVG PC Tuneup main interface, right click on settings icon (maintenance feature) skip the defragmentation option. Again, click on 1 click maintenance, uncheck defragmentation feature.
Then go to All functions feature ( last component) -> Hard Disk -> Defragment Disk. Select the drive and choose "run a fast defragmentation". It will show you the time frame of the process. We need to wait till the process gets completed, your patience is much appreciated.
Started AVG Tuneup yesterday morning. The defrag has been running since then and it's been almost (2) days and it's still running. I only have a 250GB hard drive with 113GB free. Why is this taking so long? Is it because it's defragging all my drives both internal and external or just the root drive? Please let me know if I can just cancel the defrag and move on.
