Alexandra, Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/restorechangesbyAVGPCTuneup). Alternatively you can try using some file recovery software, for example Recuva (http://www.piriform.com/recuva) to get deleted data back.

Yesterday I ran PC tune up and now all my gmail back up photos are gone.
What happened and  what can I do about it?
