Deleting duplicate files

When I scan for duplicate files 3 are reported. They are in $Windows~bt. Problems are as follows.
1) Delete will not work as SYSTEM permission is required to delete these files (why report them if the tool cannot handle the cleanup ?)
2) When I go searching for these files I cannot find them (with the same create date as the tool shows) ?
Any suggestions ?
As a side issue windows 1o update now fails, related ?

Hello Ian,
I'm sorry to hear about this. Please share a screenshot of the duplicate files (which shows while AVG PC TuneUp scan) and also the exact location of the duplicate files to assist you further. You can check the following link to see the instructions about taking the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot). You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Best regards,
Alok.

Hi Ian,
I had the same problem trying to update Windows 10. I eventually got round it by temporarily uninstalling AVG Internet security and TuneUp (I left Windows Defender switched on). I then ran the Windows 10 update and it installed sucessfully. I was initially uneasy about uninstalling my AVG protection, but while it was running, Windows 10 updates would not install.
Hope this helps.

Hi Ian,
Thank you for providing me the screenshots.
I see that these are Windows files and hence requires System Permission to delete them.
It is strongly recommended not to delete System Files as it might result in Crashing the Operating System.

Also, since the Windows Update is failing, I suggest you contact Microsoft Support and get help regarding the issue as it is not related to AVG.
