Description: General error (0x0643) Error code: 0xC0070643

Since I ran the update on AVG that was available approx 10 days ago I have been unable to get online while AVG is running.  

This morning I decided to uninstall using the supplied AVG removal tool, however when trying to reinstall I have continually received the above error.

Does anyone know how to get past this issue?  My machine is currently running on Windows 10 and I am using a paid subscription (product key is correct and approved when asked for).
