Desktop icons bein removed

This is not an expected behavior of AVG program. We will check and help you to resolve it. Let us know which AVG program running in your PC.

After running AVG, the program removes my desk top icons. 
This has only been happening after the last update.
Anyone else having this problem. I'm about ready to stop using AVG.
