Hello Tams. The popups from AVG are standard in font size it is all based on your system resolution. For your Email Scanner issue have you enabled your Email Scanner option in the web component? If not please follow the below mentioned instructions:
1) Open the AVG program.
2) Click the E-mails component.
3) In the E-mail Scanner section click the switch to change it to Enabled (green).
4) In the Anti-Spam section click the switch to change it to Enabled (green) if available.

we are nearly there. I have 2 active accounts, 1 at Gmail and 1 at Telekom. The Gmail account was formerly set to use SSL encrypting and for that account I did everything you suggested. But the other one, the Telekom-account is set to Security: STARTTLS. Is it OK, or should I do something with this too? Should I do the same with it? I suppose this won't work because it's not SSL. And if I should do the same: are the port setting the same too? Will the two accounts work near each other on the same port?
I have already received a Tray notification that said: "Checking messages". But 1 minute later I got the error message again. maybe it was about that other account.

Yes, Tamas. AVG Personal Email Scanner is currently not able to scan messages encrypted with STARTTLS. These messages will be received into your email client, however they will not be scanned before you open them. Once opened, the attachments are scanned by AVG Resident Shield and threats will be blocked.

how can I set the font size of these notifications? Here is an example of what I see there:

Well, It's in Hungarian English version (in my translation):
"The E-mail examiner can't examine the messages, because"
So why? We don't know, the rest of the text ran out because of the too big font used. And I couldn't find this message in the application either. Nor the setup of this font.
Can anyone help me?
