Hi, first of all I would like to apologize for flying of the handle yesterday. I am busy setting up my Studio Computer which crashed which is a long and complicated task and when I hit a brickwall it was a big shock to find all my restore points gone. I wasted most of my day yesterday trying to get it back and also to find where in AVG I can disable it not to delete my restore points to no avail and the the Recover feature didn't help either.
As for me this new AVG update a big thumbs down it is a confusing nightmare and I have lost all confidence in it. With previous versions I had no problems. It was easy to navigate and transparent and if I could I would revert back to it. Presently I have disabled AVG so as to not cause me any more problems. I also tried to find a " Safe Default Settings" feature which doesn't seem to exist.
Please help kind regards.

Thank you for writing us back, Carlo.
Open AVG TuneUp and hover your mouse over the side menu, then click Settings (the gear icon).
Select the Auto-Clean tab.
You can select the file types that AVG TuneUp has permission to remove during automatic cleaning. The file types that AVG ticks automatically are safe to clean without losing crucial data.
It will help you undo the deletion for restore point.
Please try the steps and let us know the status.
Also, we have escalated your feedback regarding the New UI to our senior team.
We appericate your time.
