Hi,
Yesterday (02-Jan-21), when AVG yet again popped-up and offered to scan my removable drives, I clicked on the option "Do Not Offer to Scan Removable Drive" instead of just closing the pop-up.
Since doing so, none of my USB drives work. They appear in Device Manager, and each is shown in Properties as Working Normally. But, if I plug in a device to the port or a SD card to the card reader, the device is not visible in Explorer and I cannot access it.
PC is Win10 64bit Rel 2004 Build 19041.
It is clearly not an underlying Windows issue otherwise the USB Root Hub entries wouldn't show up, or would show in an error condition in Device Manager, and the problem only occurred after clicking that "Do Not Offer to Scan Removable Drive" in AVG.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Mike
