Discontinuance of Firefox support

Hello Elton,

Thank you for reaching AVG support channel. Our goal is to provide a consistently reliable product and an exemplary level of customer service. Based on the issue you describe, we did not meet this goal.

We sincerely apologize to you for any inconvenience this may have caused.
By focusing on other top browsers (Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge), we can reach a broader audience while maintaining efficiency.

Also, user preferences and requirements shift over time, and we want to meet those needs efficiently. As technology evolves, we need to adapt and allocate resources effectively.

However, we will forward your feedback to the development team in order to improve our products. Thank you.

I agree 100% with Michael Carding. I consider Firefox to be the superior browser of all that are out there.  For you to discontinue support for Firefox with no notice borders on the despicable.  I have been very satisfied with AVG up until now.  However, I have been using Firefox, and its predecessor Netscape, as my preferred browser for a much longer period of time than I have been using AVG products. So, if I have to make a choice between Firefox and AVG, you lose. As I have several more months of my AVG subscription remaining, I sincerely hope that you will reconsider your decision to longer support Firefox.

I totally agree to Elton as well as Michael! The way AVG decided to switch us Firefox users off is disgusting and simply unacceptable. I have 210 days left om my subscription without online security!
This shows a remarkable ignorance of customers expectations.
I refuse Google and as well Microsoft, so I will end a long  time relationship asap.
You took a very bad decision, obviously without really considering the overall effect on both, customers and own company.
It's a shame, how you deal with long time customers!

I hear you, Elton. Losing Firefox support is a bummer. Like you, I'm a Firefox fan too. Hopefully, AVG listens to the feedback and reconsiders.
