Disk Doctor's thorough disk analysis issue

Hi Jørgen,
No, it shouldn't take so much time, try abort it.
Thanks

Hi !
I am currently enjoying the free AVG program on my HP ProBook 4310s machine (32-bit with Windows 7).
Yesterday I downloaded the free trial version of PC Tuneup, and decided to run the Disk Doctor's thorough scan analysis on my C: drive. It first stated that this would be the first time doing so.
When I restarted the PC I got the "starting windows" message, and it has been this way for over 24 hours now.
My worries is that the free version will expire within this time, and what will happen then? Should I abort the scan, or is it suppose to take this long? It's an old PC, so I guess it got a lot of problems, but I'm not really sure of what I should do. It doesn't show any other information than the normal start-up screen with the simplistic Windows "animation" still going.
Any help is appreciated.
