Disk dr. Going for 2 days

Hello Michael,

We're sorry to hear this. You can abort the scan by tapping "SPACE" key repeatedly until you get the PC rebooted.
Once you are able to get into windows successfully, perform repair of AVG PC TuneUp as mentioned in this http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY article and perform disk defragmentation scan.
Feel free to contact us if you need further help.

You are most welcome. Yes, the disk defragmentation usually takes time for completion.
We have to be patient, until the scan completes.
This scan can be done on HDD. May I ask whether you received any message explaining the reason for not performing the test?
If yes, provide the screenshot of it here. You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Disk dr. Going for 2 days- The (progress) bar goes from left to right then starts again (for 2 days).

One of the little blue squares flashes orange until it turns green.
then the blue square on (my) right flashes orange and this goes on until all visible boxes are green.
then there is a new screen full of blue little boxes.

there is no % or time or any indication when this process might be completed.
